This new gas monitoring capability will continuouslysample and measure inspired and expired (end-tidal) concentrations of respiratoryand anesthetic gases during and immediately following anesthetic administration,the company says. The Life Window 6000 will display inspired/expired gasconcentrations and sound alarms to alert clinical personnel when the concentrationsof measured gases and the physiologic parameters fall outside set limits,the company says. The system also monitors CO2, N2O, halothane, enflurane,isoflurane, sevoflurane and desflurane.
