Merials J-VAC E. coli coliform mastitis vaccine is now available in a 125-dose (250 mL) bottle. The company says the 125-dose bottle complements the existing 10-dose and 50-dose lineup of J-VAC vaccine. The product helps protect against E. coli coliform mastitis, plus endotoxemia caused by E. coli and Salmonella typhimurium. With its 10-year track record of success, the vaccine offers proven efficacy in protecting dairy cows and heifers from E. coli coliform mastitis, the company says. In efficacy trials, J-VAC exhibited more than 80 percent reduction in clinical coliform mastitis, according to Dr. Don Briskey, of Merial professional services.
