CHICAGO — Veterinary practice managers are working to formalize the Chicagoland Veterinary Managers Group (CVMG), an association to improve professional skills through idea and experience sharing.
Group members can exchange experiences, information, resources, education and ideas.
CVMG holds meetings the second Wednesday of each month at member hospital locations in the Chicago area, offering roundtable discussions on topics such as benefits management, marketing and accounts receivables.
Professional guest speakers have addressed OSHA issues, employee handbooks and policy manuals and the new interpretation of Illinois tax law, as it pertains to veterinarians.
