Nutramax introduces Marin for liver support. It contains silybin, vitamin E and zinc (Marin for cats does not contain zinc).

These ingredients play an effective role in protecting liver function, the company says. Silybin with phosphatidylcholine to increase bioavailability reduces cellular oxidization; increased hepatic proteinsynthesis and decreased inflammatory mediator elaboration.

Marin can be used in conjunction with Denosyl to extend the mechanisms hepatic support, the company says.

Marin for dogs is a chewable tablet in 30-count bottles. The product is supplied in a 60-count bottle for cats in tablet form.
