IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. announces the availability of its LaserCyte® Hematology Analyzer, the next generation in veterinary hematology testing for equine veterinarians. The LaserCyte analyzer, an in-house instrument that uses proprietary laser-flow cytometry, now provides equine veterinarians with a complete blood count, allowing for a truly comprehensive CBC with complete indices, including red blood count, platelets and a five-part white blood cell differential for equine patients.
The easy-to-use LaserCyte analyzer provides results with reference laboratory accuracy within minutes to aid in rapidly diagnosing the problem horse or managing the equine athlete in training/competition, the company says.
