Novartis Animal Vaccines Inc. recently produced a new brochure featuring nine experts commenting on lameness through a roundtable discussion. The company says that lameness remains one of the leading causes of culling on dairies. Participants in the roundtable included dairy practitioners, university researchers, an agricultural economist and a hoof trimming instructor.The free brochures cover laminitis, hairy heel warts and footrot.
