IDEXX Cornerstone Practice Management System users now have more options for downloading reference laboratory results into patient records, according to IDEXX.In addition to the IDEXX Cornerstone Link for IDEXX Reference Laboratories and the IDEXX Cornerstone Link for IDEXX in-house diagnostic analyzers, the new IDEXX Cornerstone 5.6 includes the ability to download results from Antech Diagnostics Reference Laboratories, eliminating the need for data entry. This feature, the company says, can reduce the potential for lost or mis-keyed results and laboratory charges.Results from the Zoasis Web site can be downloaded directly into the IDEXX Cornerstone patient record, and are displayed in easy-to-read bar graphs showing normal ranges and highlighted abnormal ranges. The cumulative data feature shows multiple results for the patient in chronological order. Current and past results can be viewed simultaneously, making it easer to analyze results and measure patient progress, the company says.
