Kong brand treats voluntarily recalled due to possible mold contamination
Some Aussie Sticks Jumbo Lamb, Beef flavor treats sold at PetsMart may be contaminated with mold.
Jakks Pacific has issued a voluntary recall of several specific sell-by dates of Kong brand Aussie Sticks Jumbo Lamb flavor and Beef flavor treats, distributed by PetsMart, because the product could be contaminated with mold, according to a release on the PetsMart site.
The company recommends consumers discontinue use of the product immediately and return to a PetsMart location for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers should bring their receipt, or a copy of the recall email if they received it to a PetsMart location and associates will help find a replacement.
