King steps down from MSU
East Lansing, Mich. ? Dr. Lonnie King will step down as dean of the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Veterinary Medicine this year.

EAST LANSING, MICH. — Dr. Lonnie King will step down as dean of the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Veterinary Medicine this year.

King served as dean of the college since 1996, according to the university. He came to MSU after being the director of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. He currently serves a dual role as director of Innovation and Strategy for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
