Keep E-collars handy
Clinic offers organization tip.

Team members at The Veterinary Clinics of Berlin-Ripon in Berlin, Wisc., faced a common problem: never being able to find what they needed. Then Janet Donar, CVT, had an epiphany while walking through a local superstore. "I got sick and tired of going through the cabinets searching for E-collars," she says. "They couldn't lay flat and were always half curled or falling down on us. Then I saw the over-the-door hangers." Today, those hangers keep the clinic's E-collars separated and easily accessible. All the collars fit on the hooks, aside from the #10 and #7.5 collars. For those two styles, team members tie them up with wire twist ties.
