JorVet introduces the Thermal IV fluid warming unit. The Thermal IV is placed over a segment of a standard IV line 18 inches from the patient. The unit will safely warm passing fluids to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A 110-volt adapter powers the lightweight unit. The electrical current is then stepped down to 12 volts DC for safety, the company says. The Thermal IV does not require separate cartridges for each patient and easily switches on and off with no adjustments or calibrations needed, the company adds.
