Can you spot the subtle signs of postoperative pain in cats?

In the United States, pet cats outnumber pet dogs, yet our understanding and treatment of pain in cats has lagged behind that in dogs. Part of this results from the difficulty in recognizing and assessing pain in cats. It's important for veterinary technicians and team members to be able to detect subtle signs of pain in cats.
