Idea Exchange: Your shredder: A well-oiled machine?

To keep your paper shredder in tip-top shape, it's best to lubricate it periodically. You can buy sheets of paper impregnated with mineral oil, but you can also make your own. Just keep a 2-oz bottle of mineral oil next to the shredder, and every 25 sheets of so, squeeze a small amount of oil across a sheet and run it through the shredder.
