Idea Exchange: Use laminated appointment sheets to be green and save green
Feel good about helping conserve paper, while saving your clinic costs on paper supplies.

We use laminated sheets of paper both for our notes and the checkout sheet during appointments. The technicians can jot down each animal's clinical signs, weight, and any required vaccines with a water-based pen. After the visit when the medical record has been updated on our computer, the sheets can be erased and reused. We figure we have saved thousands of dollars on paper supplies with this method. Notes can be color-coded by doctor, by visit, or by needed procedure.
