Idea Exchange: The preventive reminder already in their pocket

Use clients' cell phones to enhave compliance.

Some of our clients who struggle to remember their pets' monthly heartworm preventive allowed us to program their cell phones with a monthly reminder. We tested their pets for heartworms and then programmed the clients' phones before they left the clinic. We have seen an improvement in compliance since starting this practice.
