We found reaching the hooks to hang intravenous fluids to be difficult, so we bought some Easy Reach Plant Pulleys (Easy Reach) to help, and they work great. We hang the pulleys on the hooks. When we attach a bag of fluids, all we have to do is pull down the pulley with a gentle tug, lock it into place, and attach the fluids. Once we release the pulley, the bag rises up to the ceiling.
