Help owners be close in their final moments with their pets with this reader tip.

When we place catheters in our euthanasia patients, we attach extension sets to the catheters. That allows us to administer the medications without hovering over the patients, and owners can be close to their pets during the final moments. We make sure to use a lot of flush to move the euthanasia solution through the line.
