An alternative to sticky notes or other pieces of paper attached to clipboards on cages is to purchase light-colored sticky shelf liner and cut it to fit the clipboards. If you write on the liner with dry erase markers, the writing can be removed with a little alcohol. We find it helpful to place these clipboards on the cages of cats that are up for adoption. We write the cats' names, descriptions, diets, and parasite status on the liners.
