We have isoflurane and sevoflurane vaporizers on the same anesthetic machines.

We have isoflurane and sevoflurane vaporizers on the same anesthetic machines. To help us remember the chosen gas anesthetic for a patient, we cover the vaporizer not being used with a disposable bouffant surgical cap. We place the cap before the animal goes into surgery to help smooth the transfer from prep to surgery.
