Menco Equine Specialties introduces a new treatment for horses suffering from severe hoof cracks, thin walls, shelly and splayed hooves.
The Nolan Hoof Plate encourages new growth of healthier, thicker hooves, soles and heels in a typical 12- to 14-week application period, the company says.

The product was developed by farrier Mike Nolan and is made from galvanized steel that wraps around the top of the hoof. The plate works by immobilizing the hoof capsule, the company adds.
