Spectrum Surgical Instruments introduces a line of lightweight tissue and dressing forceps. The forceps are designed to aid in the prevention of user fatigue, the company says.

Spectrum reduced the weight of the instruments by 30 percent by drilling five concentric holes measuring 7 mm in diameter. The company offers lightweight patterns for Adson Dressing forceps, Adson Tissue forceps with 1-in. x 2-in. teeth, Adson-Brown Tissue forceps and Beasley-Babcock Tissue forceps. Spectrum's lightweight forceps come complete with a lifetime warranty.
