FFA awards two AVMA scholarships
Schaumburg, Ill. -- Two future food-animal veterinarians were awarded scholarships from the Future Farmers of America.

The $1,000 scholarships were made available through the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) from FFA.
Alyzabeth Looney, of Denton, Texas will attend Texas A&M University and Megan Westerhold of Rich Hill, Mo. will be going to he University of Missouri-Columbia . Both students intend to use the scholarship money to pursue an undergraduate and veterinary degrees.AVMA reports this is the second year it has sponsored scholarships to aspiring veterinarians through FFA.
