Fetch by The Dodo, a pet insurance provider providing pet insurance and health advice in North America, has released its 101 Donations Campaign to support Project Street Vet (PSV), a nonprofit public charity offering free veterinary care, treatment, and support to pets of those experiencing homelessness and housing vulnerability. Fetch will match each donation to PSV up to $101,000.

"Heading into the giving season, we are incredibly proud to continue our support for Project Street Vet. Following the organization's recent expansion to Atlanta, our goal of the 101 Donations campaign is to enable Project Street Vet to continue its growth to other areas of the nation to provide pets of the unhoused with routine and life-saving health care. Through this growth, we hope to drive greater awareness of Project Street Vet's impactful work and inspire others to get involved,” stated Samantha McKinnon, chief experience officer of Fetch, in a company release.1

The campaign runs through the end of 2022 and the funds will assist PSV with providing all kinds of veterinary support, including anything from routine exams to life-saving surgeries to vaccinations to flea and tick medications, to pets and their parents. Fetch has raised more than $100,000 this year through donations and fundraising initiatives to help PSV fund over 450 cases and grow outside of Southern California, where it was initiated.1

Kwane Stewart, DVM, who launched Project Street Vet in 2020 stated, in the release, "Contributions to our mission through donations or volunteering have a tremendous impact in helping us continue our work and provide critical pet care to the communities that need it most. We are extremely grateful for the continued support from Fetch Pet Insurance and I look forward to seeing how this donation campaign will chart a new future for Project Street Vet."

What’s more, Fetch and PSV are collaborating with GivingTuesday.org to further drive PSV’s mission. On November 29, 2022, Stewart and Fetch will partner with GivingTuesday to spotlight PSV and inform the public on how they can help support animal philanthropy in their local communities.
