Exploring the Great Barrier Reef

Video

Gianluca Bini, DVM, MRCVS, DACVAA, shares the details of a recent trip to Australia he and his wife took to explore the Great Barrier Reef

In an interview with dvm360®, Gianluca Bini, DVM, MRCVS, DACVAA, describes his recent trip to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia with his wife. The 2 went on multiple scuba diving trips throughout their 3-week vacation. They were able see the native marine life and had the chance to explore never-before-seen dive sights.

The following is a partial transcript of the video.

Gianluca Bini, DVM, MRCVS, DACVAA: It was great! We stayed in Australia for nearly a month, about 3 weeks actually. We always wanted to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Unfortunately with some of the climate changes, it took a toll in the recent years. It recovered pretty well from it, but still it's been a little bit damaged and you can see that damage, unfortunately.
