Petco Animal Supplies, Inc, has unveiled its latest Bootique collection for the 2023 Halloween season. Featuring more than 350 items, the collection features costumes, accessories, pet beds, themed toys and treats.

Vetpocket app

Vetpocket is a digital resource app for veterinary professionals and students that provides high-quality and effective digital tools readily available to the veterinary community. Launched in 2018 by Danelia de Kock, DVM; Jackson Hines; and Kevin Bedard, it has more than 45,000 global users and is available in Apple’s App Store and Google Play. The app features 11 types of calculators, reference cards from de Kock, and a digital notebook.

Toppl treat toy

This treat toy and puzzle from West Paw Inc is designed to be filled with a dog’s favorite kibble or treats. Toppl’s soft, rounded inner teeth contain a contoured cavity to hold treats in place until the dog nudges them out. Nutrition and wellness online service

Iams brand, part of the Mars family of brands, has released the PETconnect by Iams, a free digital service with no login information required that offers pet owners general nutrition and wellness advice for dogs and cats. It connects them with a licensed veterinary technician or nutrition adviser in real time to answer their questions about their pet’s health and wellness or nutrition and feeding needs.

Empathy cards

Founded by Ryane E. Englar, DVM, DABVP (Canine and Feline Practice), and her colleagues, Putting Yourself in Their Paws offers empathy cards for veterinarians to support grieving clients. All cards are printed on high-quality, 100-lb card stock and come with self- sealing envelopes. Veterinarians have the option of purchasing a set of 12, 24, or 36 cards.
