DNA My Dog has debuted consumer-based canine DNA tests with its Essential Breed ID test and Premium Breed ID test. These services utilize an extensive database of over 350 breeds and feature next-generation CNV genetic technology.

The company also offers a low-cost at-home Canine Allergy Test, which tests 120 food and environmental allergies, to help dog owners detect sensitivities their pet may suffer from.

The founder of DNA My Dog, Mindy Tenenbaum, VMED, HBA, has a background in animal rescue and Master's in Veterinary Science, specializing in Veterinary Forensics. In a release,1 she explained the company’s mission, "Helping build strong bonds between dogs and people is in our DNA." She added, "We have taken the time to sit back and listen to what pet parents want and develop our new testing service with their needs in mind. We also offer the best price points available for this level of testing."

What’s more, DNA My Dog is the only consumer company to offer Canine Genetic Age Testing, a patent-pending telomere test that measures the cellular aging of a dog to indicate pet health. Plus, they offer the only Deceased Dog DNA testing service, enabling pet owners to reveal the breeds in their dog after they have passed on.
