Disinfectants Toxic to Animals

Amanda Landis-Hanna, DVM, senior manager of veterinary outreach for PetSmart Charities, points out some disinfectants that may be toxic to animals and how veterinarians and shelter veterinarians need to be very observant.

It's important for veterinarians to be able to recognize signs that may be associated with an animal ingesting a toxic substance. These signs could easily be confused with other types of viral diseases, as well.
