Virbac Corporation announces it has received approval from the U.S. Foodand Drug Administration for Worm-X, a canine intestinal parasite controlproduct. Worm-X contains pyrantel pamoate, the most widely used anthelmintic(dewormer) product available, the company says. Worm-X is more than 95 percenteffective against the most common intestinal worms, including roundworms,and hookworms and is available in a flavored, chewable tablet, the companysays.
