Create personalized emergency drug sheets

Article

For every anesthetic procedure or critically ill patient hospitalized, we have an emergency drug sheet pertaining to that particular case.

For every anesthetic procedure or critically ill patient hospitalized, we have an emergency drug sheet pertaining to that particular case. Colorado State's Web site, http://www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/clinsci/wing/emdrughp.html, has a great emergency drug calculator for dogs and cats. From that site, you can easily print a page showing dosages for emergency drugs based on any patient's weight. The sheet is handy to place on the patient's anesthetic chart or cage door. Should an emergency situation arise, you and your staff can respond even quicker.
