A clinical board game for the whole team
Bust out this board game at your next team meeting to improve patient care.

I devised a clinical board game to play at team meetings. I used a large piece of posterboard as the game board, then drew a grid. In each square, I wrote the name of a virus or disease. I then wrote the symptoms of the conditions on a notecard. To play, participants draw a card and then must quickly match the symptoms listed with the appropriate square on the board. The game helps us communicate with clients who call and list symptoms their pets are experiencing—team members now have a better idea of what type of appointment to schedule for these pets.
