Veterinary Products Laboratories introduces Duralactin, a milk-based product to treat chronic inflammation in dogs in the form of a chewable tablet. Duralactin is not a drug or steroid, but an immuno-nutritional aid that contains a milk derivative with natural anti-inflammatory properties, the company says. Duralactin has demonstrated no toxicity in human and animal studies and is supported by a double blind, placebo-controlled study, the company adds.
