Good job! At this point continuing the current treatment plan is best, and, if she is stable, you should wait at least five to seven days before starting corticosteroids to treat the inflammatory bowel disease. If she seems to be decompensating (increased vomiting, additional weight loss), you might consider starting corticosteroids sooner.
