What pet owner doesn't love photos of a new pet? That's the philosophy of team members at All Creatures Animal Hospital in Amelia, Ohio. They photograph a pet with the doctor during the pet's first visit and send it to the owner with an e-mail that includes the practice's new client newsletter. When possible, the team sends the e-mail before the pet and owner even leave the appointment. This gesture impresses new clients, says Dan Meakin, DVM, co-owner. "It shows we want to get to know their pet," he says.
