BizQuiz: Is your practice a great place to work? (Answer 1a)

Article

Taking the BizQuiz? This is the answer to question 1 of "Is your practice a great place to work?"

1) A-Great!

Team members should never take over tasks unless they and the doctors are confident in their abilities, says Dr. Craig Woloshyn, a Veterinary Economics Editorial Advisory Board member and owner of Sun Dog Veterinary Consulting. This also means the owner, the doctors, and/or the practice manager have created written protocols for outpatient visits, surgery, annual exams, and so on that explain who’s responsible for which tasks. A doctor’s only tasks should be to diagnose, prescribe, chart, and perform surgery.
