It's clear from her credentials that Jayde Quigley, MBA, CVPM, COO of Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minnesota, knows the nuts and bolts of both business management and veterinary clinic operations inside out. So at the 2016 Veterinary Hospital Managers Association Conference, we asked her which knowledge base is more important to the position. In this video, she outlines why business skills are numero uno, but acknowledges that great managers can't function at their best without a day-to-day grasp of what happens in the clinic.
