Biosecurity: Veterinary videos

Three notable doctors talk about the role of veterinarians in fighting bioterrorism and new diseases in this country.

Veterinarians will play a crucial role in future outbreaks of new diseases, but are the profession and the nation ready? After presentations at a recent biosecurity summit at CVC in Kansas City, the featured speakers Dr. Jerry Jaax, Dr. Nancy Jaax, and Dr. Tracey S. McNamara sat down with DVM Newsmagazine's Dan Verdon to discuss their colorful history in disease surveillance and treatment and their views on national preparedness.
