AVMF seeks volunteers at Seattle meeting

Schaumburg, Ill. - Get ready to pick up those paintbrushes and dustpans at this summer's AVMA meeting in Seattle.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — Get ready to pick up those paintbrushes and dustpans at this summer's American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) convention in Seattle.

The large response to the American Veterinary Medical Foundation's (AVMF) request for DVMs to help refurbish animal shelters in New Orleans last year prompted the group to continue the program during this year's convention.

Those interested in volunteering may sign up anytime, says Robert E. "Bud" Hertzog, DVM and AVMF chairman. For more information and to volunteer, visit www.avmf.org.
