AVMA's Council on Education schedules veterinary school site visits for 2010

Schaumburg, Ill. -- Five veterinary education institutions in the United States and abroad will be visited for review by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (COE) by the end of 2010.

-- Five veterinary education institutions in the United States and abroad will be visited for review by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (COE) by the end of 2010.

Comprehensive visits are scheduled at:

• University of Saskatchewan Western College of Veterinary Medicine on Oct. 3-7;

• Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine on Oct. 24-28;

• Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine on Nov. 7-11; and

• Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine on Dec. 5-9.

COE has a consultative visit planned at the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Sciences in Australia on Aug. 28 – Sept. 2.

Written comments about the institutions or they programs they offer can be submitted for consideration by COE. Coorespondence should be directed to Dr. David E.
