Jorgensen Laboratories, Inc. introduces the Vapor Wand, an anesthetic delivery system. The Vapor Wand is specifically designed for use in wild, exotic or viscous veterinary patients. The product is a small, round, stainless steel vented probe with a contained cotton wick that is attached to a 400-ml syringe. A pre-measured amount of liquid anesthetic agent is added to the wand soaking the wick.

The 400-ml syringe is then rapidly pumped volatizing the anesthetic agent. Any animal will be rapidly anesthetized by the Vapor Wand when placed in a sealed environment such as a transport kennel.
