Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians: How It Began

Kara M. Burns, MS, MEd, LVT, VTS (Nutrition), president of the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians, talks about how the academy got started. Burns saw a need for this specialty to be made available to veterinary technicians, so she put together a petition and eventually became approved for recognition.
