A double approach to feline weight management

During a dvm360® interview at ACVC, Liz Bales, VMD, explained her advice on managing feline weight. She discussed how understanding the ways the human-animal bond can affect a cat's weight could offer another approach to better management.

Liz Bales, VMD: So, managing cats' weight can seem straight forward and we've been talking about a straight forward approach for a couple of decades. Which is, understanding how many calories your cat needs to eat in a day, and that's total calories, so food and treats, everything all together.
