dvm360® Veterinary Heroes® 2026 Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Campaign is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Guam, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of nomination, and legal residents of Puerto Rico who are 21 years of age or older at the time of nomination and are a practicing and/or veterinary professional at the time of application and award. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize: (a) persons who since October 1, 2024 were or are employees or agents of Sponsor, its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, service agencies, sponsors and any independent contractors of any kind of the above organizations (dvm360 advisory board and faculty of dvm360® events are eligible to nominate and to be nominated); (b) a previous inductee of any dvm360® awards programs including Veterinary Heroes®, Innovator of the Year®, etc.; (c) employees of the persons in the immediate family of, or persons living in the same household as any person in any of the proceeding categories and (d) industry.Void where prohibited by law. This campaign begins on or about Friday, January 31, 2026 and ends for the general public on Wednesday April 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Campaign Period”). 

2. To participate and qualify for the Campaign, a nominee may be nominated to become inducted as a dvm360® Veterinary Hero (“Campaign”) by a healthcare professional that provides services in the field of veterinary medicine, and may include, DVMs, veterinary technicians, and practice managers (the “Nominator”). Nominations can be submitted via the dvm360® website at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/vethero26 (the “Website”) by completing the Campaign nomination form (the “Nomination Form”). The Nomination Form includes name, contact information of the Nominator and nominee, reasons for the nominee being nominated, institution/practice name as well as the possible campaign categories (i.e. Behavior, Client Service Representative, Credentialed Veterinary Technician, Dentistry, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Feline Medicine, General Practitioner, Internal Medicine (Oncology, Internal Medicine, and/or Neurology), Lifetime Achievement, Nutrition, Practice Manager, Surgery, Veterinary Paraprofessional (non-credentialed support staff), and a possible “Other” category. The Nominator will complete the nomination form by checking the box provided and agreeing to the Official Rules.By submitting a Nomination Form, Nominator fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Multimedia Animal Care, LLC (the “Sponsor”), which are final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign. For purposes of this Campaign and these Official Rules, your “Nomination” is, collectively, the information and materials submitted by you as a Nominator, including, without limitation, the information disclosed through the Nomination Form, and the Nomination submitted. Nominators may submit multiple unique nominations. Nominator represents and warrants that its Nomination (i) is original work, created solely by the Nominator, and is the exclusive property of the nominator alone; (ii) has not been previously published, released or distributed in any form; and (iii) has not won an award. Nominations must be written in English. Nominations that do not fully comply with the requirements set forth herein may be disqualified. The decisions of Sponsor on this and all matters pertaining to the Campaign shall be final and binding. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible or incomplete nominations, postage-due mail, or nominations not received for any reason. Nominations will not be acknowledged or returned.

3. All entries will be judged under the supervision of a qualified judging panel (advisory board). dvm360® editorial and program management staff organize the full judging component of this Campaign and serve as a third-party voice during judging, when necessary. Decisions of the judging panel are final and binding on all matters relating to this Campaign. The possible categories from which an eligible nominee may be named a Veterinary Hero (“Inductee”) include (i.e. Behavior, Client Service Representative, Credentialed Veterinary Technician, Dentistry, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Feline Medicine, General Practitioner, Internal Medicine (Oncology, Internal Medicine, and/or Neurology), Lifetime Achievement, Nutrition, Practice Manager, Surgery, Veterinary Paraprofessional (non-credentialed support staff), and “other”. Sponsor may change campaign categories in its sole discretion. For a category to be considered by the judging panel there must be at least three (3) unique eligible Nominations received by Sponsor for consideration. Sponsor in its sole discretion may choose not to select an Inductee in a category for any reason including but not limited to the Sponsor not receiving enough nominations in a category or the selected Inductee declining the award. The entries may be judged on the following criteria and may differ from category to category: aptitude to go above and beyond in-patient care (20 percent), impact towards a patient, client, team or community (20 percent), ability to help educate clients (20 percent), knack for showing patience, compassion, and perseverance in the face of difficulties (20 percent) and understanding of the science and how treatments are designed (20 percent). If a nominee is nominated in multiple categories, that nominee will only be eligible for an award for the category in which the nominee’s achievements most closely align as determined by the advisory board. Incomplete and/or inaccurate Nominations and Nominations not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. Decisions of judges are final and binding. Inductees will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail after April 30, 2026. For a list of the Inductees names, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope to Multimedia Animal Care, LLC at 259 Prospect Plains Rd, Monroe, New Jersey 08831 by June 30, 2026.

4. No more than twelve (12) Nominees will be selected as Inductees annually of the dvm360® Veterinary Heroes– one Inductee per awardable category. Inductees will receive an engraved plaque/award (valued at approximately $125) and a complimentary attendee pass for the Fetch dvm360® Conference where the 2026 Inductees will be honored at Fetch Kansas City-- valued at approximately $799). All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided such as reservation fees, taxes, insurance, meals, beverages, gratuities, and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Inductees.Inductees are responsible for paying any necessary State and Federal taxes related to the winnings. Inductees may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize.

5. The limit for this Campaign is one (1) Inductee per category. Each Inductee will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail after April 30, 2026. If an Inductee cannot be contacted, if an Inductee refuses the honor, or if prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Inductee will be selected, or the category will not be awarded. Prize is not transferable. No cash or prize substitutions, except the sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes comparable in value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use that Inductee's name, likeness, photo, and hometown for promotional and publicity purposes in any media now known or later developed, worldwide, at no additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By participating and accepting a prize, Inductee releases and agrees to hold harmless, Sponsor, its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, service agencies, sponsors and any independent contractors of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize or the participation in this campaign or any campaign-related activity.

6. All information submitted by the nominators in the Campaign will be treated according to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Please review the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.dvm360.com/privacy. By participating in the Campaign and providing your information, Nominators hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

7. This Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or X Corp. (fka “Twitter”). You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook, Instagram, or X. Facebook and Instagram are registered trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. X is a registered trademark of X Corp.

8. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found, in its sole opinion, to be tampering with the operation of the Campaign; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike manner or with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of the Campaign. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third party or like methods to participate in the Campaign will void any attempted participation affected by such methods and the disqualification of the individual utilizing the same. CAUTION AND WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CAMPAIGN IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Campaign, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Campaign, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such an event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. In the event of any conflict with any Campaign details contained in these Official Rules and Campaign details contained in other Campaign-related materials, the details of the Campaign as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail.

9. By entering, each Nominator agrees for Nominator and for Nominator’s heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Meta Platforms, Inc., and X Corp., and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such Nominator’s participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (b) that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose; and (c) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Campaign itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in disqualification from the Campaign at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Campaign, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Campaign, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Campaign. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. This Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to any principles of conflict of laws. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Campaign will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of New Jersey and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of New Jersey. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages (excluding attorneys’ fees) associated with participation in this Campaign and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
