Lee Tyner, DVM

Dr. Tyner is professor of anesthesiology at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his DVM degree in 1971 from the University of Missouri. After 12 years in private practice, Dr. Tyner entered the academic world in 1983 as an instructor at the University of Central Arkansas, and from there he moved to Cornell as a resident in anesthesiology. After completing his residency program in 1985, he became an assistant professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University . Dr. Tyner continued teaching at Mississippi State and Morehead State University. He also worked as an anesthesiologist and career councelor for Banfield, The Pet Hospital.
