Dr. Carney received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University 1981 and opened a feline practice the following year. She has a master?s of science degree in physiology and biophysics and achieved ABVP Canine and Feline Diplomate status in 1994. Dr. Carney is a noted speaker and lectured and published in the areas of feline medicine and behavior. She is employed by Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Idaho in Boise, and Feline Special Treatment Center of Four Rivers Veterinary Clinic, Ontario, Oregon
