Charles J. McGrath, DVM, DACVA

Dr. McGrath received his DVM degree from the University of California at Davis in 1972. He then completed an internship at Cornell University and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1975. From 1975 through 1981, he was a faculty member in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Minnesota and in 1982 as an associate professor of anesthesiology moved to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. After nearly 20 years as a tenured professor, Dr. McGrath retired from full-time teaching.
