This course will enable veterinarians to describe the pathophysiology of the major infectious, nutritional, and toxic diseases of swine, as well as describe analogous diseases in other species. The diseases to be discussed are selected based on their importance to the swine industry, as perceived by the course instructor.

At the end of this module, practitioners should be able to describe pathogenesis, clinical signs, treatment, and prevention of toxic/exotic diseases of swine.
